After waking up, I wiped myself and changed my clothes today I wanted to complete another request if possible.
After having breakfast at the inn I took my leave and approached Adventurer's guild after entering Adventurer's guild without stopping I directly went towards the request board, in the F-rank quest section I saw a lot of repeated quests, like Dias flower gathering from yesterday so I decided to take gathering quest for blue sapphire herb, this herb is used in making MP potions though I haven't seen it personally I think I could find for some more experience.
So I took a quest sheet from the board when I heard someone from behind me.
"Could you be willing to part ways with that request?"
A boy said in a polite tone but he somehow had a self-important tone to his polite speech which ticked me off.
"I refuse, there are other gathering quests."
I said calmly I didn't want to part ways with this quest as pay was quite generous at 1 silver for 10 herbs so it would be quite profitable for me.
Seemingly not liking my response his eyes twitched in irritation.
"Newbie like you don't need a Job that high paying."
He said haughtyly I was getting fed up with his attitude, he looked barely older than me so I don't really understand the reason for his condensing attitude.
"Sorry but I just moved out so I need all the money I can get, find another quest."
I said trying to finish these conversation now and here I started walking towards gate as I didn't have time to quarrel with boy, but when I started walking he grabbed my shoulder truly fed up with him I grabbed his hand and slammed him in ground with all my strength, Air was knocked out his lungs and done with him I heard cheers from surrounding Adventurers whom I ignored and I approached Risa who was free right now as I was extremely early today.
"That was awesome ! he is kail he is quite bully among newbies around here."
She said telling me about him
"It's only been 2 months since he awakened status and he is already more then level 10."
She said in small voice so only I could hear her.
"How do you know that?"
I asked in same tone as her trying to know how she knew about it.
"Oh it's quite simple actually he is E-ranker and he ones bought proof slaying poison sting bee, it's range around this area is about 8-12."
She sexplained and I was momentarily amazed by such simple deduction.
"I see, can you process this request please "
I said though I was impressed that he was able to slay almost level 10 monster , though it wasn't quite the big deal to slay it in just 2 months it was still impressive, though I had to do better than him if I wanted to support Tanya as only D-rankers really can dream about starting family in adventuring business and supporting someone is big responsibility and even bigger if it is child who haven't yet awakened her status she will be depend on me for everything from food to other basic necessities like shelter and clothing .
After briefly thinking and renewing my resolution I left Adventures guild and sprinted towards city gate.

After leaving city I tried finding A morseli tree as herbs I am looking for are generally grow in trees surroundings after one hour of searching morseli tree I found 5 trees but no herbs around their perimeter, I didn't really wanted to enter the forest's outskirts but I had to do it just like yesterday I entered the forest but made sure I was on edge of forest if some monster attacked me, I started looking for morseli trees once more but I made sure to keep my guard up all the time while searching for morseli trees I was going through thick foliage and was getting annoyed by it, so I started slashing at tall grass and short foliage that were getting in my way but after doing it for while I got worried that it may harm the sharpness of my sword so I decided to spread mana thinly over my blade it was harder than I thought but after 5 attempts I was successful.

After seeing notification and understanding them I dismissed them and started slashing at trees it used minisculin amount of mana so my MP was decreasing slowly but that may also I am just coating sharp part of my blade so surface area through which mana is flowing is quite small, I was quite happy at the skill I acquired but I kept my eye out for any potential attackers.
After searching some more I finally found morseli trees in a bunch, I found about 7 blue sapphire herb in that area but no matter how much more I searched for it so I decided to collect them while I was busy collecting herb I heard russel in trees so I looked up and my eyes met with ferocious eyes of huge sized squirrel it was vampiric squirrel they seems to love places with morseli trees so it wasn't surprising I encountered it here so I threw my bag with collected herbs to the side and dashed with unsheathed sword in my hand, A look of surprise took over vampire squirrel as it still has some Allevation so it could easily time his attack when I was close to it, logical move here would have been to keep my distance but I wasn't all that alarmed as vampiric squirrels around outskirts of forest are about 6-10 levels and I had quite confidence in taking them out due to my base stats, I reached just below squirrel and acted as I wanted to climb the tree seeing easy opportunity Squirrel lashed out with its pointed teeths and clawed digits to attack me but I jumped at side dodging it's attack with comfortable margin.

but as squirrel have already Jumbed it lost its footing and was about to fall to ground almost 10 meters below I though it would stun it for second after fall but squirrel used it's bushy tail to cushion the impact and charged at me again I was tad bit surprised at its genius use of tail but it wasn't as faster then rabbit of yesterday but I have also leveled up since then so I could react to it quite comfortably, I dodged another of its another charge and used mana blade skill to slash at it but as if sensing danger it dodged we were at some kind of satelmate at movement and I did not want to attack fearing making mistake, vampiric squirrel was angry and his eyes glowed and bloody aura coated it's body and he ones again charged at me but with may more speed and agility then before I dodged my hair breath and watch as it's claws left deep mark in ground, it looked at me in frustration but I started positioning myself with soft wood tree behind my back it looked like I was getting cornered but this was one of plans I made on fly to use it's strength against him, I was surely dreaming when squirrel almost grinned and charged at me with renewed ferrosity and I time my dive to side perfectly and squirrels claw had made its way inside soft wood tree and due to force behind attack tree shook but squirrels claw was struck inside it it used all of its strength to pull out his claws but before he could get any chance I beheaded it with clean cut from mana blade. And it died instantly.

I collected useless parts like it's eyes which are potion material and it's fang which are used to make combat needles that adventures with thread manipulation ability use,it's rare talent but at 15 people in city of milita .
I decided to not look at my status right now as I decided to do it in safe place
So I left the forest with harvested herbs to allocate status points outside forest I sat on road side for safety and opened by status page

After distributing stat points I ones again entered the forest after about 2 more hours I had collected bit extra herb then required so I can get bonus for it.
After that I made out of the forest when I came out of the forest my eyes spotted something by the edge of holes at the base of the morseli tree that was caracass of dead vampiric squirrel it's some had tunnled through its whole body most like worms but side of tree had big tunneling ground it was bigger than I was tall and entire area was riddled with this holes I hurriedly marked the tree in star shape collected fangs of vampiric squirrel and left the area hurriedly as this tunnels could be home to giant forest worms, they grow fast stupidly fast eating any animal in site and they generally live in tunneling network like this I found more carcass in the area and was 60 percent sure these was work of giant forest worms.
They were B-rank monsters individualy but with how many of them are like it could easily be threat that could wipe of city I did sensible thing and didn't waste anymore time collecting materials from other dead monsters but I took away whole vampiric squirrel carracas as proof I dashed with speed I couldn't achieve before and reached city gates.
" Mr. Please open the gate I have to report something to Adventurers guild it is emergency."
I said to guard in a frantic tone,
"Lass what's the matter did you lose your toy."
He said sarcastically, this is problem people in these world do not take childrens seriously.
"These is no laughing matter see this caracass their were atleast hundreds of such caracasses of different monsters in 2km away from here around morseli trees, it's likely work of giant forest worm."
I said explaining him about it, his face paled but he decided not to believe me.
"Your spounting nonsense forest worms are B-rank monsters their is no way they are this close to city."
He said in measured tone, I was getting annoyed and was about to push him to enter city as quickly as possible when voice interrupted.
"That young lady seems to be speaking truth let her through garmi."
A new arrival said, he was old gentleman with grey hair and gray eyes I didn't know who it was so I entered after nodding to him as thanks and dashed towards the guild.
