The heavenly soul dominates human consciousness and conscience, also known as 'Taitian, main soul, spiritual soul, yuan Shen' and so on."

  The earth soul is in charge of a person's good and evil, shame, etc., and is also called 'refreshing spirit, awakening soul, yang god, knowing soul' and so on.

  And the human soul, it dominates a person's life span. Many people like to call this human soul "命魂" (life soul), I suppose you've also heard of this term. Apart from that, other terms for the human soul include "生魂" (living soul), "幽精" (ghostly spirit) and "阴神" (yin spirit).

  After a person dies, the human soul (minghun) disperses, the earth soul (yuanshen) remains in the world, and the heavenly soul (tianhun) is reincarnated according to cause and effect in the six paths, and the seven po are immediately dispersed.

  If the good deeds are greater than the evil deeds, then one will be reborn in the heavenly realm or the human realm. If reborn in the heavenly realm, the heavenly soul and earthly soul will merge as one. If reborn in the human realm, the old earthly soul will disperse, and a new earthly soul and human soul will be born to reincarnate.

  If the evil deeds are greater than the good deeds, then one will go to the hell realm. The heavenly soul will be punished and suffer in hell, only able to return to the human world on July 15th of the lunar calendar. The earthly soul will remain in the world, wandering around until the heavenly soul has finished suffering and is reborn, at which time the earthly soul will disperse.

  The earthly soul left behind can sometimes be enshrined in a spirit tablet and worshipped by people.

  Some people who die suddenly, such as in a car accident or falling from a building, will have many regrets in their heart because of the sudden death. As a result, they may not move on for many years until they find an opportunity to fulfill their wishes before leaving.

  After a person dies, they will not immediately reincarnate or ascend to heaven. Within 49 days, their consciousness will still exist and the earthbound spirit will not disappear immediately, which is why there is the saying of 'head seven' to 'seven seven'.

  Sometimes, the deceased will entrust dreams or appear as spirits, which can be seen as two situations: one is that he (she) has gone to the heavenly realm for cultivation and has become a fairy or Buddha, so when the opportunity arises, he (she) can point out help and even save family members and relatives.

  Secondly, his (her) earth soul has not dissipated. So, on some memorial days, such as the "first seventh", "third seventh" and "seventh seventh" that people often say, he (she) will give relatives a dream to let them see or directly appear all kinds of strange things. Of course, in folk there are sayings like "returning soul" and "collecting footprints", these are all about the earth soul.

  The heavenly soul is taken away by the reincarnation vortex at the moment of a person's death, while the human soul disperses, and only the earthly soul remains waiting. The so-called "ghost sightings" and other paranormal events are almost all caused by the earthly soul haunting.

  What is referred to as the soul, is actually a general term for the three souls and seven spirits. Normally speaking, when people are alive, the three souls and seven spirits are indispensable, but there are exceptions to everything. For example, in our cultivation of the Tao, we can cultivate the heavenly soul and earthly soul, thereby making our original spirit and yang spirit stronger. The strengthening of the two souls of heaven and earth can also nourish the human soul, thus prolonging our lifespan and so on.

  If we cultivators can merge the two souls of heaven and earth, then theoretically, a 'divine consciousness' will be generated!

  The divine consciousness can clearly see everything around it without any obstruction. The distance that the divine consciousness can see is related to the degree of fusion between the two souls of heaven and earth. Of course, these are all theoretical, and even this master does not know whether they are true or false.

  While the mortal soul dies, a powerful heavenly soul or an ordinary heavenly soul in special circumstances has the opportunity to escape from the suction of the reincarnation vortex and stay in the world.

  Among the three souls, the heavenly soul is the most powerful. If the heavenly soul remains in the world and finds its own earthly soul that has not dispersed, it can easily devour its earthly soul, making the union of heaven and earth two souls even stronger. After that, the heavenly soul can choose to bring past life memories into a pregnant woman's womb for reincarnation, or directly seize the body of an ordinary person, occupying their soul and living in the world, etc.

  This heavenly soul is an extremely powerful ghost, even for us cultivators, it's very difficult to deal with.

  Heaven and earth, all things have souls. Like plants, they only have human souls (living souls), having life but no consciousness, so eating plants does not count as killing; like animals, they have living souls and heavenly souls, having both emotions and consciousness, so eating animals counts as killing; while humans are complete with three souls and seven spirits, therefore humans are called the spirit of all things. In addition, there are seven spirits: Tian Chong, Ling Hui, Qi Bai, Li Bai, Zhong Shu, Jing Bai, and Ying Bai.

  The seven po are responsible for the seven emotions of joy, anger, sorrow, fear, love, hate and desire in a normal person.

  After a pause, Wu Zhengxie took over the cup of tea handed over by Xiaoyu and drank a mouthful, then continued, "What I just said is the analysis of my Huaxia Taoist family, which is slightly different from Buddhism and Confucianism."

  The Taoist cultivates himself with the aim of being in harmony with nature, following the natural law, governing the country with non-action, and talking about transcending the world to ultimately attain the state of 'unity of heaven and man'.

  In Buddhism, the focus is on transcending the world, teaching people to deeply believe in cause and effect, to attain right understanding and right views, to transcend reincarnation, to save oneself and others, and to achieve Buddhahood. It encourages people to do good deeds, avoid evil, be patient, renounce desires, and treat all living beings equally. In their eyes, the body is just a stinky skin bag.

  Confucianism emphasizes entering the world, benevolence and righteousness, benevolent filial piety, ultimately cultivating a 'pillow heart' and a body of 'orthodox energy'.

  Although the three philosophies are different, their ultimate goal is the same, which is to pursue a "Tao".

  To put it simply, Confucianism emphasizes 'respect', Taoism emphasizes 'quietness', and Buddhism emphasizes 'purity'! All three philosophies have their commonalities.

  These, almost all of which were recorded in the three books obtained by Wu Zhengyi, were initially understood by him to be quite profound, but after his memories recovered from falling into the river, this knowledge suddenly became easy to understand, so he could provide these analyses.
