  You jumped and clutched your chest. You looked behind you and saw the girl from before. Hands on her hips, smiling at you ear to ear, her tiny freckles stretched across her cheeks and nose. She tilted her baseball cap.

  "I'm sorry, I was in a hurry yesterday, and I was supposed to return it, but so much had happened."

  She shrugged, "It's alright; what's important is," she hitched up her jeans as she crouched down to inspect the bike, "What's important is that my bike came back well."
