  You saw the first two bodies. Their bodies were resting on the sofa, their eyes were still half open, and their lips parted as if they were just talking when life was snatched away from them. Although their expressions were still lifelike, you could still tell that something was badly wrong with them by how pasty their skin looked.

  Also, black veins stretched all over their bodies, stopping at their mouths. You couldn't tell where the vein-like thing started, but if you had to guess, it could be on their chest.

  "Let's check the other houses," Lucille said.

  You spent more than an hour checking out the other houses. All of them have the same condition as the dead people you first found. It was haunting to see corpses with such bizarre expressions; some of them were frozen in the middle of laughter, some looked upset; it was like someone had stopped time and made them forget to breathe.
