I shared a long look with Qinglong before replying to Sun Wukong. This guy... I don't think he's right in the head!
He definitely has mental issues! This guy is crazy! I sighed in exasperation as I looked to Qinglong. "Can't he just tell me over the chat system?" QInglong let out a booming laugh.
"Of course he can, but that Sun Wukong is definitely not a normal guy. I wouldn't accept his visitation request if I were you." I nodded. That much was pretty obvious.
"Qinglong, there's no harm in answering this right?" This guy was a bit of a psycho. I didn't want to tell him anything more than necessary.
He let out a hum as he thought for a few seconds. "No, there's no danger in doing so. Not directly, at least." I gave him a sharp look.
"Not directly? Qinglong, can you tell me why it might be indirectly a bad idea?" His massive head shook in refusal. I sighed and turned back to this Sun Wukong guy. I really didn't want to owe him favours.
Maybe just ignoring this guy was the right idea. He was really, seriously getting annoying! I felt a headache coming already.
"Qinglong, I can also be a god? I thought that only system companions were allowed to be that." Well, to be fair, I hadn't even really considered it before. However he'd only mentioned electing himself as a god; not me.
I ignored the constant notifications from Sun Wukong as Qinglong spoke. "Of course, Kuan Yin." I thought for a few moments before bringing up the pantheon menu.
I did have four remaining slots. My plan had been to recreate the four divine beasts and give them control over a direction. With the four major continents, it would've been a pretty solid plan. However now, with that extra slot, I had an idea.

Heavenly Laws, Kuan Yin
Obviously, I wasn't truly the Heavenly Laws; I'd already given those permissions to Qinglong. However, taking the title was probably a pretty good idea. If the world saw each of the four gods I'd planned to create as divine beasts who cultivated, then the Heavenly Laws surely stood above them right?
I nodded sagely. Yes, of course.
I was truly a genius! I giggled as I flexed my cultivator persona, before turning back to the chat with Sun Wukong.
I frowned, turning to Qinglong again. Today really felt like a day for revelations. "Are all the Keepers enemies?" Qinglong spun around in the air as he pondered my question.
"No, not all Keepers are enemies." He hesitated before continuing. "In a way, they have the same kind of relationship two nations of equal power would." I gestured for him to continue.
"They both need all the friends they can get to rival the other nation. At the same time, they know that they can't fight, at least not fully." I nodded. So it was like that, then?
"But," I spoke, "We will fight. Eventually." Qinglong sighed, and I guessed his answer before he even spoke it.
He couldn't answer that question yet.
I decided turning back to Sun Wukong would hopefully reveal at least something of importance; Qinglong was too heavily restricted by the system.
With a slam, I closed the chat. What was wrong with that guy!? I swear to god if he sends one more visitation request, I will kill him myself after I hit tier three. I opened several menus before I finally found the details of my world.
"Hey, Qinglong?" I queried.
"Yes, Kuan Yin?" His voice, deep and rumbling, made me turn away from my world details.
"How do I create an afterlife?" For the first time a while, Qinglong smiled.
"I've been waiting for you to ask something like that. Allow me to introduce you to the Keepernet's finest asset; the Shop." My eye twitched.
"What kind of name is Keepernet?" For a dragon, he shrugged surprisingly human-like.
"Ask the idiot who came up with it." I sighed. It seems like I had a lot of idiots to go around and find, though after taking a peek at Sun Wukong's chatlogs again, they seemed to find me just fine.
