Hello all, sorry I've been gone so long. Long story short, there were issues in my personal life that needed to be handled. That said, Aureate Ascending was fun to write and I'm going to be getting back to it soon, but it's getting revamped.

  After reading through the story with fresh eyes, I realized there is a lot here that doesn't work. The system is redundent and trys to do too much with too little, the plot got lost along the way, and Fantasy just wasn't working at all.

  SO, I am currently in the process of editing the original story. There is a lot that will be cut, but the core values will be staying. Ideals and the idea of a collective subconscious, the AI integrating into the players of Infinity Online, and Dan specifically will all be staying.

  The new setting is going to be very early cyberpunk, right when Earth develops cybernetic implants. The system will tread more toward a traditional LitRPG and there will be no alternate reality made of dreams. No promises on that last one, I love the idea, it just wasn't working.

  I have no timeline on when this will be completed, but when it is, the story will be relaunching. Thank you all for the kind words and feedback you have provided and thank you for giving my story a chance.
