Chapter 8: A raid on the school

"Why did you beat up the news crew?" Amy asked about the events earlier. "They said I was dangerous," Elnor replied. "Beating up a news crew is not the way to deal with it," I said. "Exactly, you shou—" the sound coming from Amy's mouth was drowned out by a foghorn. "What is that infernal sound?" "It's a raid!" I yelled. For everyone who does not know, a raid is when people on higher levels come down to steal and pilge. They do this like the Vikings, ruthlessly and indiscriminately. And now they were raiding the school. Amy, Elnor, and I pressed ourselves against the wall as soon as we heard banging on the door. The door burst open, revealing a group of two raiders; as they walked by, one thought went through my mind. (Easy prey.) I nodded to the others in the raiders' general direction and got ready to jump them. Using my fingers to count down from three, when my hand reached the point of being a fist, we jumped at them. After a few seconds, both of them were on the ground, knocked out. We tied them to tables with earplugs in their ears and duct tape over their mouths. We took their weapons (an AK-47 and a sword) and went, for ck of better terminology, to neutralize the raiders.
