In the quiet village of Hawthorne, Joslyn was the village outcast. Having barely survived a house fire that killed her parents as a child, she was left permanently disfigured with no friends or family. Stuck living as the village elder''''s servant as the only way to pay off her family''''s debt, her banal day-to-day life suddenly brightens when a beautiful woman arrives and not only acknowledges Joslyn, but also becomes her one and only friend.
