Inside the RV, Jason and the ladies huddled by the windows, watching the massive tornado stretching from the ground to the sky behind them. They only relaxed when the tornado stayed a few hundred meters away.
This tornado was like a living thing. If they dropped below 20 mph, it would catch them. But going too fast meant losing control in the strong winds.
So, 20 mph was the sweet spot.
Now, the tornado was like a beast stalking them. One slip, one slowdown, and they’d be sucked up, RV and all. And they couldn't just floor it and leave it behind.
Jason turned away from the window, looking at the ladies. "Listen up. We can't go below 20 mph. And when you switch drivers, be quick about it. Any stop longer than ten seconds, and that thing will be on us."
The ladies nodded, understanding completely.
They'd made it to the last day of the Wind Disaster World; nobody wanted to get swept away now because of carelessness.
Sophie looked at Jason, a glimmer of excitement in her eyes. "Jason, I heard the system announcement! Looks like we might be heading to the next world today!"
They'd assumed they'd be stuck in the Wind Disaster World until tomorrow, but the system seemed to be saying they could jump to the next world as soon as they'd covered enough distance over these three days.
The ladies started chattering, analyzing the system announcement.
They knew by now how important the daily announcements were; they dictated their survival.
Kira voiced her concern. "To get to the next world, it's all based on distance traveled over these three days."
"But today, we're stuck at 20 mph. I wonder if we'll cover enough ground to get there."
Chloe chimed in, "If we don't travel far enough today, does that mean we won't get to the next world?"
That got everyone's attention. What if they couldn’t make it to the next world and were trapped here forever?
Jason chuckled, trying to reassure them. "Don't worry. We were making good time the first two days. If we just keep a steady pace, we'll be in the next world before nightfall."
Jason had pushed them to drive as fast as possible the first two days. As long as they stayed steady today, they’d definitely cover enough ground. It was just a matter of time.
This content has been misappropriated from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere.
Still, he wanted to make sure they understood, "When you're driving, don't get anxious and speed up. This is all about willpower and staying calm. We need to be steady."
Jason was worried the girls would get ahead of themselves and push it.
After Jason's reminders, Chloe and the others understood the situation and promised to be careful.
Jason and the girls took turns driving during these three days, and they could rest on the bed when they were tired, making them have more comfortable conditions than other teams.
Now, many other teams are tired.
Long hours of driving made them spiritless, and their mental state was depressed, all they could hear was the sound of wind.
Even the state of some teams with more people is not very good.
This feels like driving on a highway, and the people sitting in the car are uncomfortable after sitting for two or three days without driving.
Now that they have to drive at 20 mph in a tornado.
Once someone loses mind and collapse, their RV is likely to be torn apart.
Now when opening Group Chat App channel, you will see few messages are sent. Other than trading, everyone are mostly analysing information.
Therefore, we can see that everyone is in low spirits.
Luckily Jason’s RV had a Simmons Double Bed where the ladies can restore their physiques, so they can look just fine.
After Jason and the ladies eat simple breads, Jenna has used skills tokens to enter a new Dungeon.
Jason is going to improve his ladies' strength.
“Now that we are heading to another world. I am going to enhance your strength,” said Jason to his girls.
All the girls have great expectation now. Who would hate to enhance strength?
Despite having a high strength stat compared to normal folks, some others could reach a similar strength by using attribute orbs.
Strengthening these ladies is an important thing to do so that they can protect themselves when Jason is not around.
Jason spend 60 Favor Points to create 6 D-Rank attribute orbs. Two each for Chloe and Kira.
"Chloe, Kira, absorb these two D-Rank orbs. It's your decision as to which Stats to upgrade."
"Thank you hubby." The girls took it directly.
Chloe naturally improved D-Rank Mental state, enhancing Spirit Shock even more. Kira has improved both speed and power to D-Rank.
The 2 remain orb has been delivered to Joyce.
The 2 orbs came at right time for Joyce.
On Joyce’s RV, the Bee Queen and Joyce were very fatigued. Exchanging drives between these two weren’t easy task.
Once Joyce get these 2 orbs, she forget to show appreciation, instead she immediately absorbs the orb, improving Mental state from D- to D-Rank.
Jason now is going to look at Lily.
“Lily, these twelve orbs are yours. After absorbing go and get Ellie out.”
In the past, Jason gave Lily 12 orbs which enhanced her Strength and Speed to E+, Jason is now giving her 12 orbs again so she can increase Mental and Physical Stat.
Right now, Lily stats is E+ Rank.
“Thanks….. Jason Bro.” Lily’s Expression is dizzy when taking the orbs, reminded her of back in the past where she took the orbs inside the bus.
Without Jason, she could not imagine the kind of hell she would live in now.
That’s when Lily became tearful. She understood now she can only depend on Jason as the world turns chaotic.
Lily’s Favor Points Increased +5.
Jason smiles as Lily +5 Favor Points, and is considered great by his surprise.
Now that all Jason ladies reach over 5 Favor Points.
Jason now looks at Joy and Tiffany.
