Rounding the corner, he gasped for breath. Running as fast as he could to get away from the fight that was happening behind him. I need to go faster! He yelled at himself. Breathlessly, he jumps and rolls to dodge another boulder. "Watch it!!! There are people here!!!" he yells behind him as he dashes further down the street.
A thunderous boom shook the city as a Super ricocheted off a building and slammed into the ground. The street rippled as the Super launched back into the air. The waves of his departure threw cars and people alike into the air before landing on the ground. Stumbling into a wall, the man trips over a large crack and falls. Placing his hands in front of him to catch himself, he hits the ground.
Pushing off and into a dead sprint, he manages to dodge several chunks of concrete and rebar as a building is destroyed behind him. Cries of surprise and pain rang out, filling the city streets. Struggling to his feet, he starts moving away. His slow, stumbling walk growing into a full sprint. Dashing around a corner, his feet pounding against the ground, he dodges another chunk of concrete. He continues sprinting down the road, closing in on a bunker. People standing outside waving for him to get in.

He crosses the distance painfully slowly as the gas lines start bursting and catching fire. A wall of flame blazes to life in front of him and blocks his path. He covers his face with his arms and jumps into the roaring fire. Rolling back to his feet on the other side. An alarm sounds as the doors to the bunker start closing to block the violent flames.
Running faster than he ever has before, he dives into the 2 foot gap between the doors into the bunker. Tucking his head in as he rolls to disperse the impact. Hitting a wall of people and stopping as the doors close with a thud behind him.
