A thousand years ago, a mysterious asteroid crashed into Earth, nearly wiping out all life on the planet. However, stubborn humanity survived, gaining strange powers after being infected by a virus the asteroid carried with it—and that was not the only thing that came with the catastrophe. Abominable creatures flooded the world, and Dimensional Portals opened, bringing forth the Aberrations.
