Hundreds of years ago, the First Black Plague erupted from the Dayless Crater. Not only did it annihilate one-fourth of the population, but it also tainted the lands of Zeron—the Plagued Realms, mysterious zones that occurred out of nowhere. To defend Zeron against the Black Plague, the five kingdoms constructed the Fort Eternity and took the Oath of Eternity, vowing to stay in solidarity.
