Triggered by Delzie’s current scent of vanil and amber, Ruby closed her eye and enjoyed the mixture of smooth and spice before she answered, “Delize, darling.” Ruby paused to bury her lips in Delzie’s chest and left a little bite mark behind as she pulled away. “Tell me what made you so excited that I am about to take you under this table and do very good things with you.”
A heavenly purr escaped Delzie’s chest with the little mark Ruby left on her plump breast. “Always a tease, Captain.” She turned to Nerice, “Natasha…years this fox has avoided my bed. Should I be insulted that she won’t bed me?” It was only after Ruby reached up and turned Delzie’s face back to her that the greensleeve answered Ruby’s question. “Fine, fine.” Delzie took a deep breath, “If tightrope walking and little feats of human contortion aren’t enough, it would appear that there is a real-life dragon-dy that puts on a show twice a night, even uses the audience to help.”
“Delize, you wound me. We have been together.” Ruby lightly pinched Delzie’s chin. “The night before I jumped from ‘The Ghost Spade’ if you recall.” Draining her second mug of rum and ale, Ruby fgged down the barmaid again and ordered another drink. “Tell me, Delzie…” Ruby looked around the pub again. “...how did you find the amazing dragon-dy?” Ruby smiled and winked at the barmaid as the pretty girl pced the rum mixture on the table. “What’s yer name, that way I don’t just call you .. love.”
Wildly blushing, the young barmaid stammered through the request. She’d been asked out a hundred different times with a hundred different lines, and even said yes to a few guys she found interesting. This time was much different. Unable to think clearly, it took her a few moments to remember her name. “Um, Gweyir..ma’am. It’s some kind..o…of…pixie, or elf-like n-name.” Gweyir shrugged nervously, “...I guess I get called an elf because I am fair-skinned?” It was only after Ruby patted her arm that Gweyir stopped shaking and grinned widely. “All the same, that is my name, Ma’am.”
“Call me Ruby, the lovely elf in my p is Delzie and the brooding figure in the hood is Natasha…” Ruby snickered as Delize arched her back enough to look at Gweyir upside down. “...I seem to collect elves, Gweyir.” Ruby ughed and shamelessly flirted with the young dy. “Would you mind telling me what all of the other tables are discussing? They seem to be holding some sort of parchment.”
“Oh, that is easy Miss Ruby, the carnival that is in town for a few more days.” Gweyir held up her finger and ran over to the bar, then hurried back to Ruby’s side. “See? We were given these to hand out from the promoters.” With Ruby studying the little advertisement, Gweyir finally waved at Delzie. “Good to know you as well, Miss Delzie and…Natasha.”
Her one hazel eye danced over the piece of paper and took in the way it dispyed all of the smaller acts and then had their big production in a silhouette with the fire flowing from the performer’s lips and created the circur centerpiece. “Gweyir, dear.” Ruby asked with her vibrant and melodic French-accented voice, “Thank you so much for your kindness.” Lifting Delzie from her p, Ruby stood up and spun the greensleeve in a gentle dance then reached for Gweyir.
Without skipping a beat Nerice stood as well and with the same fluid-like grace, took over the dance with Delzie. Pulling the stunning courtesan close to her, Nerice managed to finish their little dance with Delize spyed across both of the blind woman’s arms. “Amazing as usual…shall we leave the captain to her own devices and you tell me all about this carnival in a more private setting?”
“With pleasure, Natasha.” Delzie waved to Ruby and Gweyir. “You both have fun now.” She giggled as Nerice carried her off. “Natasha, get us back to the Mysti Mermaid without tripping once and I’ll use oil..” Delzie half-whispered as the two disappeared into the windy and cool night.
No sooner had Ruby folded the young woman into her arms and began slow dancing with her chin on Gweyir’s shoulder, than Ruby started to humm a pleasing melody. It was the moment that Gweyir leaned back into Ruby is when the pirate took a better look at her current dance partner.
Allowing her little melody to set the tempo of their sinful dance, Ruby breathed in Gweyir’s cherry and rose-scented dusty brown hair that fell to the center of the barmaid’s back. Soft and steady, Ruby kept her pleasant music at a sensual pace to match her fingers as she probed Gweyir’s tight frame. As promised, Ruby took in her dance partner’s milk-like white skin, affirming Gweyir’s description of herself as elflike. While the young dy was certainly within her twenties, everywhere Ruby touched was absolutely perfect, nothing out of pce due to age. Unlike many dies Gweyir’s age, she was a lithe and overly skinny woman who would be considered a runt to many. Turning the fair maid to look into her single hazel eye, Ruby intensified her lovely tune as she looked into Gweyir’s lovely profile. Matching the rest of her body, Gweyir’s image conveyed a subtle beauty and angled cheeks that Ruby knew the young woman used to her advantage. Ruby felt Gweyir meld into her own sculpted pirate-mermaid body and let out a soft sigh that breezed across Ruby’s face the moment the bold pirate cupped one of Gweyir’s breasts. “So…pretty.” Ruby stopped singing.
Slow and steady Gweyir turned in Ruby’s one-armed grasp and faced the beautiful pirate. “Here I expected better from the great Ruby One-Eye.” She lightly ughed and threw her arms around Ruby’s shoulders. “In the end, you always succumb. Don’t worry lovely, none of them will matter in about ten seconds and the rest won’t even recall you were here.” Gweyir ughed as she let her fangs lock into pce with four little clicks and brushed her lips over Ruby’s neck. “Seldom is a meal so satisfying.” Instantly finding Ruby’s heavy pulse, Gweyir had just opened her mouth wider when she heard the melody from her meal start again, followed by a sharp hot pain into her chest. “I..Agh…”
Cmping her hand over the lovely vampire’s throat so she’d quietly stare in disbelief, Ruby stopped her song briefly. “I held my breath dear.” Jamming her hallmark bde to its hilt in Gweyir’s heart, Ruby added, “I know that burns.” She ughed and kept weaving her words into her sensual melody. “The more you move the more blood it takes, my dear.”
