Aliens have the ability to manipulate events on Earth and alter the course of human history, and routinely use this ability to study humans. They can pass as humans when they are on Earth, but they have special abilities and technologies. This is the story of how one of the alien scientists comes to the human world to find her lover who has gone on a mission to help a human in trouble.
