The seas are treacherous--raging storms, inhuman pirates, titanic leviathans--those who sail live each day with only a plank''''s thickness between profit and death. With risk comes reward, however, and all sailors keep a wary eye out for the breaklands, giant islands that rise from the depths of the sea, rich with commodities. Many nations have fleets dedicated to the raiding of the breaklands, sending out ship after ship to gather whatever valuable materials can be scavenged before the islands sink back into the sea.
