The year is 2098 and the world is facing a crisis, overpopulation. There is not enough food to support the 10.5 billion people that live on the earth. The world''''s governments have been using many different temperary solutions, many of them are to reduce the population. None of them were permanent solutions. It wasn''''t until 2088 that a solution that was more then temperary was found by a gaming company, Infinum Entertainment. Infinum Entertainment develped an alternate reality game, that when used in conjunction with the advances in neural mapping would allow for transference of the mind into the game permanently. Working in conjunction with the World Overpopulation Solutions Committee a plan was developed to have the impoverished populations of the world colonize this digital frontier. With media marketting and goverment funding the world responded positivily and in 2098 Exodus launched. The plan to save the world, but new problems arose.
