In the Astryn region, where a massive pit known as the Great Beyond home to the most dangerous Pokemon and secrets resides. A young man named Alphen Primoris lives a quiet life, far removed from the thrill of Pokémon battles. Unlike his sister Celestia, the reigning Champion, Alphen has never felt the pull to follow in her footsteps. But when he returns home one evening to find a strange Pokéball and an odd note left behind from his sister, he soon realizes his sister has disappeared into the massive crater.
