He snapped off another rib, growing it into a bone sword. Without hesitation, he charged at the two tanks. The battle had been going on for less than half a minute, and out of the five-man team, only the two tanks were left.
Everything had happened so fast since the skeleton appeared. It was as if in the blink of an eye, all their teammates were dead. This was the price of underestimating an enemy, but they would never get the chance to learn from it.
The two tanks could only see the skeleton's terrifying face looming larger and larger in front of them. Amidst the alternating spells, the tanks soon felt a chill on their necks and lost their lives completely.
[Ding, Killed Heavy Warrior LV12, Experience +200]
With the last tank taken care of, Eric pulled the sword from the swordsman's neck, reverted it back to the shape of a rib, and connected it to his own ribs. He then stripped the swordsman of his leather light armor and cloak, put them on himself, and plunged into the forest ahead, sprinting like mad.
Freedom, freedom.
Eric's pale hand bones clutched the bone sword, using his facial bones to greedily take in the forest air. Even without a sense of smell, he almost felt like he could smell the earthy fragrance in the air. He kept running and running.
[Agility] was activated to its limit. It seemed that the increase in Constitution points had also given his stamina a nice boost. Although he wasn't sure if what skeletons had could even be called stamina, or if it should be called "bone strength"?
As he ran, Eric discovered a depression in the forest. It looked like a meteorite crater, with freshly overturned soil.
Right in the center of the depression lay a huge white rock. The rock seemed familiar...
Wait a minute, this isn't a rock at all. This is the horn that the purple-armored warrior had chopped off Pound!
He needed to get out of here fast. Who knows if Pound had some kind of hobby of collecting baby teeth and would come back to retrieve this broken horn.
Wait, this horn...
Could he attach it?
Pound's horn would be way more powerful than the limbs of these low-level skeletons.
Eric couldn't help but think as he looked at the horn in front of him. But neither the system nor the size would really match him and the horn. But what if...
Even just attaching a little bit would be a gain.
The more he thought about it, the more he felt it was feasible. If he could attach it, how exciting would that be?
Having made up his mind, Eric didn't hesitate. He quickly walked up to the horn and pressed his skull against it.
[Bone Mutation] activated.

The skull and the horn gradually fused together, growing as one.

[Unlocked new evolution path] Low-Rank Half-Dragon Skeleton
[Low-Rank Half-Dragon Skeleton] A special skeleton transformed from a half-dragon after death, possessing the power of dragons, a natural warrior, capable of using a small part of dragon magic, with a level cap of LV30.
[Wind Magic LV1, Fire Magic LV1, Earth Magic LV1, Water Magic LV1 combined into Elemental Magic LV1]
He gained three skills and a new evolution path all at once. But he couldn't take this thing with him! The horn was several times larger than himself. As for cutting off a piece, that was even more impossible. The hardness of this thing came from a bone dragon above LV70; there was no way he could cut it.
He had to think of another way.
A flash of inspiration struck Eric.
If he evolved with his head connected to this thing, would it count as part of him and evolve with him?
The more he thought about it, the more feasible it seemed.
Could he be a genius?
With his head attached to the horn, Eric began to search for the evolution section on his status panel.
Damn it, he had collected too many evolution paths, making it really hard to choose.
He actually wanted to evolve into an elemental skeleton.
A skeleton that could adapt to all elemental magics and cast elemental spells without incantation. Since skeletons couldn't learn faith-based magic and could only learn elemental and necromantic magic, an elemental skeleton was like a dream come true.
[Mastered Wind Magic LV1, unlocked new evolution path] Low-Rank Sky Skeleton
[Low-Rank Sky Skeleton] A skeleton that roams the skies, mastering the secrets of the sky and the power of wind, a dangerous attacker from above.
[In the evolution paths, Low-Rank Fire Skeleton, Low-Rank Ocean Skeleton, Low-Rank Earth Skeleton, Low-Rank Sky Skeleton combined into Low-Rank Elemental Skeleton]
[Low-Rank Elemental Skeleton] A skeleton that masters all four elements, with adaptability to all four elements, capable of casting elemental magic without incantation, a dangerous magical skeleton, with a level cap of LV20.
Lines of small text kept flickering on the panel, and Eric only just noticed that they had been flickering since a while ago.
"Can I really evolve into an elemental skeleton?"
Although the level cap wasn't very high.
Who cares? With the noble no-incantation feature, who cares if the level cap is low?
Without hesitation, he chose to evolve into an elemental skeleton.
In an instant, flames of four colors surged from his soul fire, sweeping across his entire skeleton. It seemed like the depths of his bones were blossoming with colors. The barriers at the joints of his limbs and body completely connected, and the slight differences in size and color gradually assimilated and fused into a pure white.
The big lump on his head, connected to Pound's horn, kept shrinking, which looked incredibly counterintuitive. Until the entire horn was swallowed up, the light and flames on Eric slowly subsided.
On the panel, the gray occupation section finally lit up.
As an elemental skeleton, Eric naturally chose to be an elemental mage as his occupation; otherwise, it would be a waste.
He decisively chose the elemental mage.
Elemental mage, with each level up, in addition to extra free attribute points, Spirit +1, Constitution +1.
The moment he chose his occupation, all the data on the panel flickered rapidly, with the level and experience bar changing at high speed, and the accumulated experience quickly impacting the level.
