Chapter 10: Meeting The VIPs.
The road they traveled on was paved and very well maintained. The Kingdom of Reri, and Celia’s home kingdom, the Kingdom of Pas, had decent relationships.
At the very least, trade between the two kingdoms was very important, so the roads leading to each one were a high priority. From the all maintenance and use, rarely did any animal wonder onto these roads. So Celia’s trip was, besides those fake bandits, peaceful as can be.
Shift!
Celia: “Tin?” She asked, leaning over to look at him.
Tin: “Our VIPs have arrived.” He informed in a whisper.
Looking ahead of Tin, Celia didn’t see anyone. But, she soon noticed two people get into the back of the carriage. This one wasn’t open, and had a door on the back. Other than that closable door, there weren’t (besides the driver window) any other sightlines outside of it.
Lem: “Princess… it’ll be a few days before we reach home.” She shakily said.
Carma: “Can we… s-survive until then?” She asked, spitting up a bit of blood.

Celia: “…”
After they got inside of the carriage, Tin quickly urged his horse to start moving once more. Even a fool could see just how horrid of a state the two VIPs were in…
Carma was the princess of Reri, and Lem was her personal maid. Both of them were covered in blood and wounds, and neither looked like they’d make it more than a few hours more at most.
Celia: “Here, take these.” She offered with a smile.
Lem and Carma: “( o_o)”
Midas, like an overly protective parent, had prepared so many items in the ring that she gave to Celia. Despite having cheaty, healing clothes and accessories, Midas even put High Tier potions inside. This included Mana Potions, as well as Healing Potions.
Celia: “What’s wrong? You two really need these potions…” She asked with a confused head tilt.
Carma, being a proud princess, was reluctant to accept Celia’s offer. This was due to her pride, and Carma being well aware of how… deeply expensive such potions were. If you got one for cheap, even a person with great connections would still have to pay thousands of Gold Coins, if not a few Orichalcum Coins.
Lem: “Miss Adventurer… what is the cost for these potions?” She asked with a serious tone, ignoring her wounds, and bloody appearance.
Celia: “Cost? A benefactor gave them to me, so I don’t know how much Coins one costs… Either way, you both won’t survive, so just take them. I won’t ask for anything in return.” She answered with a sincere smile.
With the princess still reluctant, Lem quickly took the four potions, force two (one Mana, one Health) potions down her lady’s throat, before downing two herself.
After checking their Statuses, Carma and Lem soon calmed down. With their Mana restored, they even cleaned themselves with Magic. Though, their attires were still greatly damaged, but it was far better than being so close to death…
