Volume 8. Chapter 45: Finding The Requester. (Chapter 746.)

  Chapter 45: Finding The Requester.

The one who put up the quest… was a bit foolish at this time. Sehr had only recently vanished, literally a day before Celia took on this quest.

As such, she didn’t realize that, being a powerful noble, the average Adventurer couldn’t just waltz into the nobles section of this city.

Ria: “Rever…” She said with a sigh, now understanding why she felt angry at seeing the requester’s name on the paper.

Celia: “Huh? Why mention that company?” She asked with a raised eyebrow, continuing their walk.

At this point, the two have easily entered the nobles section, as Ria was a highly respected and powerful maid, while Celia was one of the princess of this kingdom. Upon doing so, they, after asking, were given directions to the requester.

Ria: “Yes, it was a company who fooled you into a dangerous quest. It isn’t just a company name; rather, Rever is the name of a high up noble family.” She clarified.

Celia: “Ah, so that’s why Rever is next to the requester’s name, Cynthia.” She replied with a laugh, not having any hatred remaining for the Revers.

Sure, they tricked her, but it was all with the intention to protect Princess Carma, her sister. Due to that, Celia let her barely existing grudge for the Rever’s go already.

Celia: “Wow… this is… almost as grand as the castle.” She said with an awed tone, now being ushered into the Rever estate by a maid.

Ria: “Well, next to the royal family, the Revers have the most power and wealth.” She informed, sighing once more.

Since they were so ingrained in the commerce of… everyone, even the Felta Empire, this estate was set up to conduct important deals. Other than a large area, which houses various rare monsters, the estate was mostly normal.

Or rather, Ria found it to be normal, and Celia saw it as grandiose, since she wasn’t really that well versed in what classified as normal for nobles.

  A Guided Tour Later.

Cynthia: “Welcome, welcome! You’re quite small, but I can feel your strength…” She said with a brilliant smile, fighting back the urge to rub the little girl’s head silly.

  Celia: “(~OAO)”

At first, Celia saw the large doors, and overly tall ceilings of estate, and assumed that it was either the Revers being pompous, or to accommodate their collection of huge, tamed monsters.

Now Celia knew that she was completely wrong. As the girl had to look up, tilting her head backwards so much that it started to hurt, just to barely be able to look Cynthia in the eyes.

Zia: “As always, the stature of the Revers… is not to be taken lightly.” She said with a whistle.

Ria: “She is… also far stronger than us. Level 300, at the very least.” She replied in her head, tone worried upon finding yet another powerful being in her charge’s wake.

Ria and Zia’s conversation went on like this, trying to come up with various plans on how to kill this giant, if it comes to that. Meanwhile, Celia was still silent, before then letting out a yelp, as Cynthia wordlessly picked her up.
