Liang Xin was originally born into a family of criminals, believing that he would never have a chance to rise in this life. Unexpectedly, at the age of eight, a ghostly servant who had once served his ancestors came to pledge loyalty to him. To cultivate the Dao and attain enlightenment, one must sever worldly attachments; in the eyes of cultivators, only the Dao matters, unaffected by external influences, and indifferent to worldly honors and humiliations.
