Set around 500 years before the main story.
On the continent of Assinarius, Leini had decided to take a stroll through the remains of what once used to be the elven Kingdom of San which had been turned into nothing more than gss by Leini's daughter Svetna who was the First Schor of Assinarius. What remained of the Sanites that were spared by Svetna had become the people known as the 'Repenters' who stay within the Gssnds and watch over what remains. Tourists from different parts of the continent and beyond visit this site as it is considered a 'Physical Anomaly' even by this world's standards and the Repenters have made a good amount of coin in charging for tours through the Gssnds as while it may seem peaceful and uninhabited other by the Repenters, there are dungeons that had formed underneath the Gssnds and pour out onto the surface from time to time.
Leini, ever the lonely traveler, was walking by herself as she toured the barren Gssnds. She looked at how shiny the surroundings were, how the light reflected off what were previously organic mountains now turned into giant gss lighthouses that refracted light all over the pce. The ground below her was hot as hell but her outfit kept her safe, clean, dry, and more than cold enough to handle the intense heat coming from the gss surface. She hummed to herself a tune as she continued walking, her eyes looking around and her head nodding at the pure beauty of the pce. She even stopped once in a while to look down through the gss, seeing the petrified and scared faces of elves who were unfortunate enough to die on that day so long ago, while their bodies remained, their souls had already long since moved on from this world and into the afterlife.
"Jesus, its like looking at a fresh coffin" Leini remarked to herself as she found herself looking down at the petrified corpse of a man trying to reach out to the surface, his face full of fear and the desire to escape whatever hell was about to befall him

As Leini continued, her lone tour, she noticed a massive formation marching into her sensory range far far off to the west. She turned her head and using her immense eyesight, she saw a massive army marching her way.
"Hmm, too organized to be bandits, but those banners are something I haven't seen before" She mused as she squinted her eyes to try and make out the entire thing slowly approaching her
"Tourists? Nah, they would have had Repenters leading from the front"
"Too big to be a band of marauders....yet too organized to be anything less than a military force...but that banner says otherwise" She conversed with herself as she slowly made her way to the formation marching her way
After walking around for ten minutes, Leini decided to just teleport right in front of the formation. When she appeared in front of the massive formation, she finally got a good glimpse of the banner that continued to keep her curious, said banner in question was a golden hollowed-out sun upon a bck field. As she kept looking at the banners being raised, she didn't even pay no mind to the group of people and their mounts who were all fucking surprised at her suddenly materializing before them, with several of the Gsshound mounts which were native lizards to the Gssnds that could withstand the great heat being startled shitless as they reeled from seeing and even feeling her presence, nearly throwing off the riders on their scaly backs. Gsshounds have a special bond with those who were blessed by the Gods and react accordingly to whatever they sense, and seeing Leini who had been around practically since the beginning was making them quite nervous.

"Identify yourself" The person in the lead of the group asked as he brought his sword down next to the neck of Leini at blinding speed, at least to his comrades
"Don't point that there young man, you could hurt someone if you pce the bde like that" Leini casually replied to him as she pushed his bde off to the side while continuing to just look at the banner
"Wha?" The man replied in confusion as he saw his seemingly immovable posture be simply brushed aside
"Hey dy! My boss said to -"
"Shush it squirt" Leini cut off the young mage conjuring lightning in his hands in an attempt to intimidate her, severing his connection to his mana pool, leaving him frantically wondering what the fuck just happened after Leini simply brushed his arrogance away with the wave of her hand
"Huh?! What the?! I can't feel my magic! AAAAAA!" The young mage cried
The scene unraveling before them left the rest of the armed group looking at Leini uneasily as she seemed to be so nonchant in her actions that dwarfed whatever expectations they had from their leaders. One of the younger brigands, a young elven girl barely at the age of 8 then removed the banner from her pike and brought it closer for Leini to hold as she noticed her just staring at the banners the entire time.
"Thank you deary" Leini said with a small nod as she took the banner in her hands and kept looking at it, slightly adjusting her gsses on her face as her head tilted from side to side while she tried to recall anything that looked remotely close to the symbol on the banner
The entire formation just stood in silence under the beaming heat of the Gssnds as Leini continued to try and recall anything about the banner in her hands, many of them exchanging nervous looks with one another after seeing her simply brush a sword aside and deprive the best mage in the group of his mana pool
{!}
Then, the entire group flinched as Leini snapped her fingers, as the answer finally came to her head, making her let out a loud "Rightt!" that was filled with he glee of remembering the exact thing she needed.
"You lot are the Dying Sun Brigands right?" Leini asked as she lifted her head from the banner and looked over at the man who pointed his sword to her throat earlier, finally getting a good glimpse of him.
The man in question was around 6'0 (183 cm) tall while wearing a dirtied suit of silver pte armor with a set of dark brown cloths wrapped around his limbs and a brown cloak covering most of his frontside, his sword being held in his left hand as he stood still, his short and spiky hair was as still as his grey eyes that looked at Leini with confusion and unease at her nonchant question.
"Ummm...yes" The man replied
"Oh nice. I remember that this group has been around Assinarius for some time. Raiding nations to keep itself afloat. But why are you here in the Gssnds? There are no kingdoms here to raid"
"That is because the Gssnds are the quickest route to the Kingdom of Forrad which lies further east of here" The man replied with a stern gaze
"Ohhh....I see" Leini nodded
"But unfortunately for you, you will not be able to live to tell anyone that information" The man added
"Oh and why is that?" Leini asked, slightly annoyed
"Because you won't live to tell the tale" The lead brigand answered as he readied his sword
"Oh...well, that is going to be a problem then. Because if you say it like that, then I guess I will just have to stop you here"
"Ha! You? One lone woman against the full might of the Dying Sun?! HAHAHAHAH! You and what army-"
{!}
As the lead brigand finished his sentence, he suddenly became a cloud of red mist as Leini simply punched him into oblivion, leaving the others reeling and stunned speechless as they suddenly lost their leader. They were about to react but Leini suddenly sprouted two rge arms made of red mana that floated behind her while she was busy cracking her knuckles and stretching up.
"What Army? Well, that's simple. It's me, I am an army....now who wants some?"
.........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
The fight that followed was brief but brutal, Leini showed no quarter to the entire group of brigands as she sughtered them with ease. She relied primarily on her fists and feet while also using the two massive mana arms to strike out at anyone dumb enough to get into range. Such as one brigand who tried to sneak up behind her while she was attacking his comrades, only for it to fail as one of the mana arms then grabbed him by surprise and then crushed him into a red paste before moving on to the next target.
By the end of it all, the entire Dying Sun Brigands group had been reduced to nothing more than red stains on the rolling Gssfields. But despite Leini killing everyone, she did leave one alive, the same young 8-year-old elven girl who had handed her the banner from earlier. When the girl had approached Leini earlier to hand over the banner, the Old Schor immediately scanned the young girl's brain and saw that she was a 'prize' looted by the brigands after burning down a vilge of elves who were Repenters and the young girl was being controlled via a neckce she wore around her neck, a neckce that kept her in a state of confusion and obedience. Leini broke that neckce when the fighting started and put the young elf to sleep while she went on her killing spree.
Now, with all of it over, Leini stood next to the young girl who had just woken up from a pleasant nap with a dream of her recently deceased parents. Seeing Leini made the girl flinch slightly but before she could do anything else, Leini sat beside her and pced her arm on the young girl's back, keeping their gazes forward.
"Hi there, I am Leini...I saw your memories and I am sorry for your loss" She began as she looked down at the young girl who looked back up at her with tears in her eyes before she pnted her face in Leini's rge breasts and began crying
"Since you have nowhere to go...do you wanna come with me?" Leini asked after an hour, letting the young girl get everything out of her system before asking anything else
"Mhmm....I do" The young girl replied
"Ok ok...that's good. I will do my best to help you...what do you want to be called?"
"Pittah...that's what mommy and daddy used to call me" She replied
"Hmmm Pittah...a lovely name, alright Pittah, you will be coming with me then, so hold my hand and hold on tight ok" Leini told her as the two of them stood up
"Mhmm" Pittah nodded in reply, tightening her small grip on Leini's hand
"Brace yourself" The Old Schor added as she then teleported out of Assinarius and back to Kani with the young Pittah
