Returning home after fixing the mess he made in the forest; Lorien laid down on a couch in the living room to take some rest

  After experimenting for so long, he felt exhausted; Looking blankly at the roof, It didn't take him long to fall asleep

  This small nap lasted about two hours and it allowed him to completely restored his state to its peak

  Waking up, he yawned and stretched lazily; Now fully awake and clear-minded, Lorien closed his eyes again and felt the Source Energy inside of his body

  Feeling its 'full' state, He raised his hand as 2 silver 'balls' appeared floating on top of it

  Those small silver 'balls' are new 'seeds' of [Immortality] and [Physical Ability Awakening]

  After creating them, Lorien couldn't help but smile bitterly as he felt the Energy that he had just recovered, get consumed again

  Shaking his head, he called out to Saigai who apparently had just returned from her usual 'town tour' to absorb energy

  Hearing his call, the latter quickly arrived and looked at him in a perplexed manner before inquiring

  "What?"

  "Let's go out first!"

  Saying this, Lorien stood up and made his way towards the backyard as Saigai quickly followed behind him

  Reaching their destination, Lorien immediately took out the 2 'seeds' he had just made and said with a smile

  "Got a surprise for you"

  Glancing at the two floating 'orbs' on top of Lorien's hand, she looked at him in confusion; The 2 'balls' looked nice and had a mysterious feel to them, but she couldn't tell what they were; Lorien also understood this, so he began explaining

  "This one is a 'seed' of [Immortality] it gives....As for this 'seed', it's...."

  After clarifying what they were, Lorien then waved his hand causing the 'seed' of [Immortality] to float towards her

  After hearing what those small 'beads' do, Saigai's gaze change as she looked at them; No one would feel indifferent in the face of immortality, its human instinct to seek it; Not to mention women who has an obsession with looks

  But just as she raised her hand to touch it as Lorien instructed, she stopped midway and looked at him

  "Did you also use one?"

  Hearing this she didn't worry anymore and touched it, Immortality is a blessing for some and a curse for others

  This mostly depends on personality, but the general consensus is that immortality is only a blessing when the person gaining it and those close to him all possess it

  Otherwise, it'll just be a scenario of a person living alone watching helplessly as those close to him die one by one, over and over again; Some may get used to it but most won't

  With the silver 'bead' touching Saigai's hand, it instantly disappeared into her body

  And following its disappearance, a similar transformation to the one Lorien experienced earlier ensued inside Saigai's body

  Seeing her sit on the ground shakily, Lorien shook his head as he made a chair and sat down

  He knew how this transformation felt so he could understand what she is currently experiencing

  The 'seed' of [Immortality] didn't have any variables like the other 'seed' so its absorption went as predicted

  In just 15 minutes, the transformation ceased; Feeling this, Saigai quickly stood up and looked down at her hands before looking at Lorien in bewilderment

  "Is that it?"

  "Yes, just try it!"

  Hearing this, she looked at him in disbelief; After all, she just felt a pleasant sensation for 15 minutes and then there was nothing; There was no pain or any of the things she previously expected would happen

  With a wave of her hand, the scarlet necklace she was wearing transformed into a sword and fell into her hand; Then, she put the blade on her hand and moved it lightly creating a small wound

  "Ouch!"

  But just as the wound was created, it soon disappeared as if it was never there; Seeing this, Saigai's eye shone brightly as she looked at Lorien happily

  "It really works!!"

  Rolling his eyes at her, Lorien then sent the other 'seed' toward her

  "Absorb this, I am a bit curious as to what ability you will awaken"

  Calming down her excitement, She looked at this 'seed' curiously and moved her hand toward it

  The moment she touched it, the 'seed' disappeared as a new bout of transformation started; But this time, it was different from the previous pleasant one

  "Ahhhhhhh!!!!"

  Feeling a wave of overwhelming pain hit her; She was unable to hold it, she let go of the sword she was holding causing it to fall to the ground as she herself also fell next to it and into a fetal position

  Seeing this, Lorien felt distressed, he wanted to help her alleviate the pain but he didn't know if his interference will cause any bad mutations

  Thankfully this transformation didn't last long as it was quickly replaced by a somewhat comfortable sensation

  And as that was happening, Lorien could see some scarlet lightning suddenly arc around Saigai; Just looking at it made him feel creepy

  'What is that?'

  "Ughh"

  Groaning lightly, Saigai shakily pushed herself up to her feet while also picking up her sword

  Staying silent for a couple of moments, she then stretched her hand as a ball of scarlet lightning suddenly appeared on top of it

  Seeing this, Lorien was unable to hold his curiosity anymore and asked

  "Soo? What ability did you awaken"

  "It is called [Calamity Lightning], It is lightning that holds the power of calamity and doom, That's all the information I received"

  "Lightning huh...Now your lack of long-range attacks is solver"

  Previously, after Lorien returned from the demon slayer HQ after the battle with Muzan; Saigai spoke to him about her battle against Doma

  She spoke about how Doma was able to constrain her because of his long-range attacks and how difficult this made it for her, But it seems that this issue is now fixed

  "Yes, but I need to test it..."

  Seeing the lightning in saigai's hand start churning and twisting, Lorien's eyes went wide as he quickly shouted

  "STOP! STOP! Not here! Go to the nearby forest!"

  He has just fixed the place, he didn't want it getting demolished again

  "Oh!"

  Remembering where she was, Saigai embarrassedly dispersed the lightning and put down her hand

  "Sorry!"

  Pausing for a moment, She turned her sword back into a necklace and then quickly ran towards Lorien hugging him before running off

  "Thank you! I'll be back later!"
