MCSDB Chapter 38 Frieza’s Scheme

The spaceship streaked across the vast expanse of the universe, a streak of light against the inky bess. Ihay breaths, it had already escaped P Vegeta's orbit. Through the window, Jiang could clearly see the outline of the blue p gradually emerging, then slowly shrinking as the ship hurtled away.

Staring at the p he had called home for nearly five years, Jiang couldn't help but feel a plex mix of emotions.

Over the past few years, he'd sidered many possibilities. He'd even wondered if he should try to save P Vegeta. But in the end, he decided against it.

Whether it was the inal timeline or this altered one, saving P Vegeta felt like an impossible task.

In the inal timeline, Frieza's determination to destroy the Saiyans was clear. Without the strength to defeat Frieza, preventing the p's destru was out of the question.

This revised timeline was even more plicated.

Since Beerus, the God of Destru, had ordered the destru of P Vegeta, there was no sario where the p could be spared. Even if Jiang somehow mao defeat Frieza, it wouldn't ge the ultimate oute – he would still be no match for Beerus.

More importantly, P Vegeta held little value to him. The Saiyans werely noble beings worth risking his life for.

After tless hours of deliberation, Jiang decided to leave. He even temporarily abahe idea of saving Gine and Bardock.

Frieza's pn had already bee in motion. The fewer people involved, the greater the ce of survival.

As a low-css warrior, Jiang estimated that no one would pay much attention to him. But if he tried to leave with Bardod Gihings would bee far more plicated.

Bardock, being the most powerful Saiyan after Kia, had long been on Frieza's radar. Attempting to escape with Bardock would likely lead to a swift and untimely death.

Moreover, with the uainty of whether this was the inal or revised timeline, interfering with Bardock, who might be a key figure in history, could have unforeseen sequences.

As fine, Jiang initially po take her with him. However, he ultimately decided against it.

Since Gine was Bardock's wife, it was uaiher Frieza or Kia might be watg her. Taking Gine along would signifitly increase the risk of being caught, and in the worst-case sario, none of them would be able to escape.

Rather than taking such a gamble, Jiang chose to leave quietly.

If he could reaamek or Earth, he could use the power of the Dragon Balls to resurrect or relocate everyone far more easily.

This was also why he didn't even visit Gine's home to say goodbye. He wao avoid any unnecessary plications.

  " stop, Patar."

"Six months should be enough to reach it."

Jiang muttered softly, shaking off his distrag thoughts. He posed himself aered the gravity mae to begin his training.

  …

Meanwhile, in a distant part of the universe—

O Serka, at one of Frieza's army's branch bases, Frieza himself had arrived without aig.

Within the massive base, Frieza remained fortably seated in his small, floating pod.

"Lord Frieza, half of the Saiyae squad has returo P Vegeta. The remaining half should be back within six months."

"In addition, all elite squad missions have been suspended, and the low-css warriors' missions have been signifitly reduced. At the current pace, all operations will be halted within six months." An alien respectfully reported.

Hearing the report, Frieza's lips curled into a sinister smile, his eyes gleaming with malice.

"Oh ho ho, how very obedient. I almost feel relut to get rid of them," Frieza said in a sione, a smile pying on his lips.

"Lord Frieza, another Saiyan low-css warrior has left P Vegeta. His destination is P Nirma, cssified as an intermediate-level phe highest battle power on the p is 5,700, making it very close to a high-level p," The alien quickly added.

"Oh ho ho, my poor little monkeys. Looks like another one is about to meet his end," Frieza sneered. His gaze shifted to a nearby figure.

"Cui, take care of it. These little monkeys serve me. I 't have them getting themselves killed so easily."

"Yes, Lord Frieza." Cui immediately k on one knee, responding with utmost respect before swiftly retreating to carry out the order.

"Zarbon, step forward," Frieza tinued after Cui had left.

"Lord Frieza, at your and." Zarbo in deference, his tone equally respectful.

"The Sitar anizatioo have grown a little unruly tely. I dislike disobedient business partners," Frieza said coldly, his eyes gleaming with malice.

"Yes, Lord Frieza," Zarbon replied without hesitation.

"Oh ho ho, it's been a while since I've seen fireworks," Frieza chuckled softly, his voice eg through the base. The gathered aliens lowered their heads, none daring to make a sound.

Meanwhile, Jiang was oblivious to all of this. He had no idea that P Nirma, supposedly a low-level p, was actually an intermediate-level p, almost on par with a high-level one.

Nor did he know that the p's inhabitants didn't merely possess a battle power of one or two huhe stro o Nirma had a battle power of 5,700.

It wasn't just about P Nirma, either.

As the Saiyans' overseer, Frieza's army trolled all intelligend data regarding their missions. Maniputing those details was a trivial task for Frieza's forces.

Although Frieza hadn't yet initiated a full-scale operation to annihite the Saiyans, preferring tather them back to P Vegeta before striking, that didn't mean he wouldn't target Saiyans on individual missions.

By making small adjustments to mission data, turning a low-level p into an intermediate-level or even high-level one, Frieza ehat many Saiyan squads would never return.

It was a subtle yet effective method to reduce the number of Saiyans without raising suspi. After all, Frieza had no iion of sparing the lower-css Saiyaher.

Uhe vast expanse of the starry sky, Jiang 's spaceship tis rapid jourowards P Nirma.

Ihe gravity mae, Jiang bega another day orous training, maintaining his relentless pursuit of strength.

  …

Time quietly passed under such circumstances.

In the blink of an eye, five months had gone by.

During these five months, Jiang was pletely immersed in his training. At this point, his spaceship was less than a month away from reag the transit station, Patar.

Meanwhile, the tension o Vegeta was growing more palpable by the day.

The number of elite warriathered o Vegeta had reached nearly a hundred. It could be said that most of the elite warriors had already returned. At the current pace, within three months, all elite Saiyans would have made it back to the p.

  Ihe Royal Pace,

  "Has Bardock still not returned?"

Kia frowned deeply, his expression grim.

"Your Majesty, we've lost tact with Bardock. We are currently uo reach him," a Saiyaed cautiously.

  "Useless!" Kia snapped in frustration.
