On a Halloween night, Sophie Riviere lost the love of her life to some kind of demon that vanished in thin air. Unable to find their way back to civilisation after tragedy took over their lives, Sophie and her friends, Winnie and Saskia, run through the woods, get their souls read at abandoned amusement parks, slow dance with skeletons, sleep at decaying hotels, noble houses and Gods’ palaces, and learn some sort of elemental magic and martial arts at a special University. What seems to be just a nightmarish adventure in a new fantasy world soon turns into a revolution in favour of the rights of the locals in a place gods never wished for them to reach.
