In a world ripped apart by corruption and sin, there are few willing to pick up a sword for any reason other than personal benefit. Armies move at the whims of monarchs, Sheriffs and local authorities only exist to collect bribes and extort the poor, it is into this country that our main character arrives by boat.The lands he hails from, and the order he pays fealty to, are very different to these. This is the story of a devout inquisitor placed into a truly corrupt and evil society, watch as he struggles with his own humanity as he is forced to perform more and more repulsive atrocities in the name of his justice.
