Ferret, a hapless goblin, is tired of being an expendable arrow catcher for more powerful races. He decides he is going to do what no other goblin has done and become a wizard. A chance discovery on a battlefield sets him on the path to become the greatest wizard the world has ever seen, assuming he survives.
