In the late 18th century, Johnson City, Tennessee, is haunted by a mysterious beast. Konrad Stone and Lars, experienced trackers, investigate the mysterious creature, uncovering strange tracks and makeshift cages. They encounter the Dark Ones, a group of Cherokee warriors, who believe they are responsible for the deaths. They learn about their plans and gather a small army to stop them. The Dark Ones plan to use the beast for their own gain, but Konrad and Lars must navigate suspicion and prejudice to stop the beast.
