Unfathomable darkness taints the world. Entire counties and provinces are now desolate and hateful wastelands haunted by evil and mutation. Such corrupted lands are now known simply as "Malorum", and their inhabitants are abandoned to the whims of whatever nightmarish creatures roam unchecked.
