Kit is one of the Changed, animals mutated and made sentient by a mysterious accident one fateful day in Japan. Part of a small community formed after the Change, he’s shocked when furry new pilgrims from all over the world start showing up at their doorstep. As Kit struggles to provide for his ostracized community, he’s drawn into a larger conspiracy that poses a threat to all of Japan.
