I woke up to a loud screeching noise. I was in an infirmary and used my wings to push myself up on the bed. As I checked my chest for any marks that would prove that what I witnessed was not a dream, a drop-dead gorgeous girl came through the blinds and sat on my bed. "And who are you again?" I asked her. "Aw, do you not remember the bond we made?" she responded, confirming that this was not, in fact, a dream. "Ah, you are the dragon. I thought you were a guy." "How rude of you to assume someone's gender. Anyway, please don't call me 'the dragon.' I have a name and I'd like it to be used." "Which I—," before I could finish what I was saying. "Look for it in your soul." "O-okay." I closed my eyes and concentrated. As I focused on looking for her in my soul, I opened my eyes in a new pce that looked like it was in space, with a pedestal in the middle and a ptop on it. I approached the pedestal and saw what it was; it looked like a website where you would find web novels, except it was called Aaron's Soul. There were only two books I could read. One of the two books was titled "Self," and the other was called "Bonded." I clicked on "Bonded," and it showed me a more in-depth view of the book. Here’s the description: "The soul of Aaron's dragon bonded Elnor." (Ah, her name is Elnor. I better get back; I can read all I want ter.) As that thought crossed my mind, a door appeared in my field of view. I walked up to the door and opened it; it looked like the light-speed effect from Star Wars. I trusted the air around me to bring me back. Then I stepped off the ptform I was standing on, fell quickly, and nded back where my body was. My eyes shot open. "And?" Elnor asked inquisitively. "Is your name Elnor?" I asked her. "Yes, that is my name," she confirmed. I heard a door burst open, and the noble appeared outside the curtains. "That's not fair. You get to know her name first, even though I met you first." "Then what's your name? You compin, but you never actually told me your name." "Amy. It's Amy." "Thank you." Due to the dragon's appearance, school was canceled for the day.
