Vivian, Camilla, Lilian, Chrissy and Victor go into Vivian’s car and rushed to the hospital. Victor, Chrissy and Lilian were on the backseat, and Chrissy snuggled against Victor and Victor could see her face getting paler. The streets were empty and that allowed them arrive at the hospital quickly. The hospital wasn’t that big, only two stories and not too wide. It was obviously open and they quickly rushed in, with Chrissy in Victor’s hands.
“How exactly do we do this? I mean you can’t just waltz in and start drawing my blood. Won’t that be suspicious.” Victor asked, and looked over at Lilian, as she was the only doctor among them.
“That’s exactly what we are gonna do.” Lilian said, as a nurse walked up to them
“Mrs. Pierce, what are you doing here, your shift already ended? Is something wrong with your daughter?” She asked with concern in her voice when she saw Chrissy in Victor’s hand
“Hypnose. Take me to a private room and bring me a needle, blood bags, alcohol and a Y tubing.” Lilian said and the nurse nodded dully. They then followed the nurse to a private room, before she left to get what Lilian asked for.
“So you hypnotized that nurse huh?” Victor asked as he sat down and placed Chrissy on a chair beside him
“I hypnotized all the nurses and doctors in this building. It is easier to get blood that way.” Lilian said as she leaned against the wall.
“Hungry.” Chrissy moaned weakly
“Her pulse is getting weaker. We should probably hurry.” Vivian said
“What happens if she doesn’t get blood in time? Do you know?” Victor asked
“Normally, we would go into a blood rage if we don’t drink blood for extended periods of time. We become savage and hungry, doing anything to gain blood. If we don’t get blood even then, we start to desiccate, entering a long period of slumber, only to be awakened by the blood of someone from our bloodline.” Camilla said

“But that only applies to a vampire. What about a halfling?” Victor asked
“No idea. And I'm not willing to find out.” Vivian said and just then, the door opened and the nurse returned with all the supplies, Lilian asked for.
“Let’s begin.” She said and quickly pierced his vein with the needle and connected the Y tubing to an empty blood bag and Victor could see his blood dripping into the blood bag.
“How long is this gonna take exactly?” Victor asked as Camilla restrained Chrissy who seemed to have smelled the blood
“Too long. Vivian can’t you speed this up.” Elliot said as he and the rest of the family phased through the wall and into the room.
“Sorry, but this is gonna hurt.” Vivian said and pointed her open palm towards Victor, and suddenly face became tense, before his blood started flowing through the tubing even faster, filling up the blood bag within a minute. Lilian quickly handed the blood bag to Chrissy who quickly tore it open and gulped it down. She gulped the blood down messily, spilling some on her clothes. After she was done, she massaged her forehead and groaned.
“I never want to do that again.” She said
“How are you feeling honey?” Camilla asked
“Like the gears in my head and the rest of my body slowed down and they are finally moving again. It was fucking awful.” Chrissy said with a sour expression on her face.
“Mind your manners honey, you don’t want to seem unrefined to our guest.” Camilla said and turned towards Victor, making her finally remember that he was in the room.
“Chrissy, you have a little of my, uh, blood right here.” Victor said, gesturing towards his chin and Chrissy’s face turned red with embarrassment, and she wiped the blood from her chin.
“Ehem, I think we should be heading back home now shouldn’t we?” Chrissy said with a desperate look in her eyes.
“Not yet, I need to get a blood sample from you for testing and I need to draw some more of Victor’s blood for you to drink tomorrow.” Lilian said and Chrissy sulked, causing Victor to smile. Lilian took some of Chrissy’s blood into a syringe and Vivian used her ability to help Victor full up another blood bag.
“Need someone to help you home kid.” Alaric asked as he could see Victor’s pale face, caused from blood loss and Vivian using her ability.
“Nah, I’m fine.” He said as he shakily walked to the door. Chrissy looked at his back with concern and guilt written on her face as she was, mostly, the cause of his current condition.
“Victor, thank you.” Chrissy said
“Yeah, anytime.” Victor said and all of them left the room, Chrissy and her family through the wall and Victor through the door, leaving behind Lilian and Elliot.
“I still don’t trust that guy.” Lilian said
“Well, atleast we know he isn’t malicious.” Elliot said
“Well, I still wanna find out exactly what he is and what connects him to our daughter.” Lilian said, lifting up the blood bag filled with Victor’s blood and the blood bag filled with Victor’s.
