Chrissy POV
I laid on my bed, thinking about the events of last night. My family trying to kill Victor, how Victor somehow managed to hold his own against my murderous family and the embarrassing behavior I displayed in front of him. My cheeks turned red in shame, as I wondered what he thought of me after the events of the previous night. I looked over at the flower, the pleasant dream bloom, and my mood brightened somewhat.
“Chrissy, you alive in there?” Vivian asked as she knocked on the door.
“Do I smell like a corpse?” I retorted
“….Kinda.” Vivian replied in an uncertain tone, pissing me off even more.
“Well, I’m not dead so piss off.” I said angrily
“Okay, okay, but you need to come downstairs, after yesterday, everyone is a bit worried about you. And if you don’t come down in fifteen minutes, we will come in.” She said before heading downstairs and I sighed. I closed my eyes, trying to sense the magical energy in my body and although I couldn’t see my core, I could vaguely sense the magical energies flowing through my body. I could feel Victor’s magical energy flowing through my body, but it was much less than before and I can sense magical energy of my own, a thin crimson red energy that flowed through my body, filling me with vigor. I got up off my bed and went downstairs, and I could see that everyone was already back to their usual demeanors.
“Good morning, where is mom and dad?” I greeted before asking, not keen on being held by grandma’s, [Telekinesis] again. She also seemed pleased, as she looked up from her dusty old book with a smile.
“They are at the hospital, trying to figure out what happened to you yesterday.” She replied
“Oh.” I answered, and I was curious what they would find, although I had a feeling I knew what happened. When I collapsed, I could see my core and the magical energy surrounding it. The mist, Victor’s magical energy, was slowly absorbed by my core and the cracks seemed to heal a bit and it started to release a red magical energy, while the feeling of hunger began to get stronger. If I had to guess, my core wanted more magical energy, which only Victor seems to be able to provide. My body rejected the human blood, and my body started to deteriorate after that, it reabsorbed the red energy, every bit of it from every cell in my body, making me sick. And when I drank Victor’s blood, my body absorbed the magical energy, but it was much less than before for obvious reasons.
‘I need to keep drinking Victor’s blood if I don’t want to get sick again.’ I sighed internally and apologized to Victor

“They also left you breakfast in the fridge, don’t drink all of it. We don’t know if your friend would be willing to donate again.” Camilla said
“If he won’t then I don’t mind bleeding him out.” Grandpa said and grandma elbowed him in the stomach
“Don’t you dare, you guys already tried to kill him last night and he still decided to help. If he doesn’t want to again that’s his choice, none of you are going try and do anything got it.” I said, my anger clear to everyone
“Calm down tiger, that’s your grandpa your talking to.” Alaric said and simply pushed passed him into the kitchen with a huff.
“But she’s right, you shouldn’t. And that goes for you too Alaric.” Grandma said and I opened the fridge door, searching for Victor’s blood bag. On it was a note, that said I should only drink a single glass and I groaned internally. I took out the blood bag and spotted the box of cookies on the table that Victor brought yesterday. I filled a glass and took out one of the cookies which were small, red squares and they smelled delicious…and tasted even more so. I quickly downed the glass of blood and ate the cookies which made me feel better and improved my mood. I could also sense a rush of magical energy in my body.
“I’m going for a run.” I said and left the house.

Third Person POV
A few minutes after Chrissy left, Vivian opened the fridge and took out the blood bag filled with Victor’s blood.
“You do know that’s for Chrissy right.” Alaric said as Vivian poured some into a small glass cup.
“Yes, I’m just curious why this blood is the only one she can drink. As I’m sure the rest of you are too, and a vampires taste buds are the best judge of blood.” She said as she put the blood bag back into the fridge. Camilla and Edward entered the kitchen, smelling the blood. Vivian took a sip of the blood and toyed with it in her mouth for a while, before finally swallowing and a shiver went down her spine. She quickly placed the glass on the table before holding onto the table for support as her face twisted.
“That blood is definitely filled with magical energy.” Vivian said with a groan, curiously, Camilla also took a sip and a shiver went down her spine, but her reaction wasn’t as extreme as Vivian’s.
“You’re right, there is magical energy in his blood, and very potent ones too. I can sense two, one of them seems similar to ours and the other….is completely different. It seems that all of us might have been wrong, I think Victor might not be half human, half supernatural….but a hybrid of two different species.” Camilla said and the atmosphere became a little somber
“You mean like….a hybrid between a vampire and werewolf.” Alaric said, a little terrified. There have been records of hybrids before, powerful creatures born from two different races of supernatural creatures, extremely powerful capable of battling even demons with their immense might and malicious will. Having such children is considered taboo in vampire society, as the resulting offspring is too powerful and uncontrollable. Whenever such creatures are found, they are brought to the high Council, a gathering of high ranking nobles and royals who dictate rules within vampire society.
“I can’t be too sure, but if he were a hybrid, he should have known shouldn’t he. I mean, hybrids have so much magical energy that it is practically overflowing, there is no doubt that he would have noticed that he was different from normal humans.” Camilla said with a frown
“Great, so we might have an oblivious hybrid on our hands, with his parents God knows where. What should we do?” Edward said
“What can we do? Us attacking him didn’t go so well last night, which now makes sense, I was wondering how a human could follow our movements like that.” Alaric said
“We didn’t give it all we got. If we were to have proper weapons and use our family ability. We could easily crush him.” Edward said and Alaric nodded his head, making Camilla frown
“We aren’t gonna try and kill Victor, and if the two of you try, so help me Lamagra, I’m gonna break your spines.” She said angrily and both men shivered, knowing full well she could do it
“Are you alright now my dear?” Camilla asked Vivian
“Y-yeah….can I…have the rest of that?” Vivian asked, gesturing to the glass of blood, causing Camilla’s eyelid to twitch.
