Chapter 35: Finding The Nest.
Since Ria, Carma, and Midas all took turns holding Celia, the young girl wasn’t tired at all. And neither was anyone else in this group, as each person here was a pretty high Level.
Once you’re an adult, and of a high Level, it takes a lot to make you worn out. In fact, this was the main reason why Celia was so easily convinced to let herself be carried.
Celia: “Midas… this doesn’t seem like a normal nest, does it?” She quietly and meekly asked.
Midas, Carma, Lem, and Ria: “…”
In total, it took three days of walking (they could have flown, but they preferred to walk, so their time with Celia was extended) before their group reached the location where the quest took place.
At the edge of a beach, inside a large cliff, is a Goblin nest, with a Goblin Champion in it. That was all the details that were written for the quest.
Ria: “This quest was clearly a scheme by these Goblins. We should run… return home, and ignore this nest for now.” She seriously proposed.
Midas: “I am against that idea.” She outright denied.

Ria: “What?! You’d really put Celia in danger?” She retorted with a raised eyebrow.
Midas: “With us here, Celia is in no danger at all.” She replied with a confident tone.
Rather than a simple nest, the cave entrance was hidden by Concealment and Illusion Magic, which Midas helped the others see through. The nest was practically a fortress, with tens of thousands of Goblins surrounding it, and many Goblin Champions ordering them around, and keeping peace.
The workers weren’t just Goblins, though. Various Adventurers, whom all fell victim to the false quest listing, were chained up and used as skilled, strong laborers.
As for how they get tricked… There was an illusion of a small cave entrance, which, upon entering, a person would be faced with forty fully armored and decked out Goblins. Even a Level 100 would find this situation unwinnable…
Carma: “How can this large war force… just exist barely that far away from the kingdoms of this land?” She mused with a thinking pose.
Midas: “It is hard to say. Not even I detected this place until I got closer…” She replied with an unsure tone and expression.
After getting just thirty minutes away from the false entrance, Midas finally detected the trap. The group then flew up to the cliff, and entered the illusion from a safe position, now gazing down at the impressive military force before them.
Celia: “Can we fight so many Goblins? Those Goblin Champions… look pretty strong as well.” She voiced with a curious tone, now calmed down by how casual Midas was acting.
Midas: “We can. It’ll just be a war.” She jokingly answered.
Celia: “…”
Carma: “I won’t allow that to happen!” She interjected, not understanding that it was a joke.
Midas: “Yes, such a plan would be foolish. Instead, we’re to disguise ourselves as Goblins, and then figure out the truth of this curious little nest of theirs.” She excitedly added, already chanting the Disguise Magic.
Celia, Lem, Ria, And Carma: “(- _ -)”
