  Celia was still sleepy from Midas’s spell, so she slept longer, and the others flew back to the castle. During this downtime, Ruina returned her consciousness to her body, back in Xena’s realm.

  Ruina: “Dear, I have some dirt on a tricksy pervert, one of Celia’s wives… Surely, with this, Xena will help you wake up!” She expressed with a smile, happily playing with Nemu’s long hair.

  Ruina: “…Are you… going to threaten me?” She nervously asked, taking glance after glance at her beloved, worried that this might be the last time she ever got to see Nemu.

  Faith: “How could I ever do such a thing? We might not have truly met, but I do see you as my daughter.” She denied, feigning a hurt tone and expression.

  Doing her favorite thing, Faith snapped her fingers, and the deal was made. In truth, Faith, upon seeing Nemu, already planned to save her.

  But, with her smarts, she got a good deal out of her daughter, which made Faith quite happy. Coming out of her daze, Ruina found herself confused in her sleeping wife’s room.

  Ruina: “…” “Why am I here? Ah, it must just be me being silly. Surely, I am here to appreciate Nemu’s beauty!” She thought nonchalantly, her tone happy, immediately returning to playing with Nemu’s hair.
