Chapter 25: They Were All Shocked...
Seeing them all stunned into silence, Celia thankfully realized that, not only did she NOT inform Carma or Lem about having a System, but she also didn’t explain her already high Level, either.
For one, the main reason Celia was kept inside her room… was because the maids here were all Level 50 or slightly higher. In this world, the balance was still figuring itself out, with, on average, most beings being around Level 20-30.
Of course, a Level 30 Elf is far stronger than a similar or close Level Human, but that isn’t important right now. Basically, very high Level beings, like these maids, were always sought after.
Ria: “Lady Celia… you’re… stronger than us?” She nervously asked.
Celia: “Well, if you’re lower than Level 92, yes.” She nonchalantly answered.
Lem: “I just checked her Status. Lady Celia really is the same Level that she said she was…” She added with a shaky tone.
Ria And The Other Maids: “(O.o)”
Not only was guarding Celia in this room pointless, but the maids had somewhat forcibly dressed Celia up countless times. Although Celia, at any time, could have resisted, maybe even killing them if she got pissed off enough.
If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
Celia: “Why is this so shocking? Herm was a high Level, and Ruina, my System Helper, said that, since I assisted in killing him, I got a portion of the Exp, while most of it went to Carma and Lem.” She said with a confused head tilt.
Ria: “Level 92 is quite powerful, My Lady. Far from being just an F Rank adventurer, you would be classified as an S Rank, easily.” She tried to explain.
The maid, Ria, herself was Level 89, which was one of the main reasons for the woman to hold such a high position in this castle. Prior to working here, Ria was actually an adventurer, and an S Rank one, at that. So she wasn’t lying here.
Carma: “Celia, when did your System fully awaken?” She asked, doing her best to calm down.
Celia: “Right after Herm directly tried to kill me, but I dodged his attack. Ruina was the one who suggested for me to kill him sneakily, since his DEX Stat was low for his Level.” She answered, always being honest around females.
The pleasant idea of forever keeping her dear Sister close to her heart… was shattering before her eyes. With that Level, Celia had few normal enemies in this world to worry about. Which meant… the princess no longer had any real way of convincing the young girl to stay in the safety of this castle.
Lem: “Lady Celia, how long will you be staying with us?” She dutifully asked the question that no one here was willing to utter.
Celia: “Hm? I plan on increasing my Level, but this is still my home, yes?” She replied with another head tilt.
Carma: “It is!” She hurriedly confirmed.
Celia: “Then, I just need to visit the Guild take on quests. Oh, I don’t mind if Ria follows me, since her Level is close to mine.” She then replied with a smile. “I completely forgot to pay Albert back, but, eh, who cares!” She cheekily thought.
Everyone In The Room: “…”
