Chapter 74. Lame diary.

“32000ft…” Shila said, watching Hilda panic as she tried to think of a solution.

“Well, I suppose there's one thing we can do,” Shila said, providing hope to Hilda.

“What is it?! Anything works!” Hilda said, trying to calm down as she grabbed Shila’s shoulders and shook her.

“We could buy a really strong coffin and stay inside until we die from a lack of oxygen. This way somebody may find ours, or at least your body sometime in the future since mine will probably disappear,” Shila said, annoying Hilda.

  “Are you high?!”

“Fine, there's a solution, albeit a painful one, wanna know?” Shila said as she sighed.

  “Anything!” Hilda answered immediately.

“Teleport out, your entire body will fill with water immediately, and you will immediately begin to suffocate while your organs will feel a sudden surge of pain due to the weight of the water, some organs may even be dislocated, once you do so I can teleport us back to the territory,” Shila said, curious to see if Hilda would rather somewhat of a painless death or temporary extreme pain to live.

“Obviously I’d rather live!” Hilda shouted, teleporting out, immediately suffocating as she nearly vomited, feeling extreme pain.

“Told you,” Shila said, teleporting them back to the territory as Hilda vomited out as much water as she could, barely conscious, along with massive pain followed by vomiting of some blood.

“You lied… that was a lot more than just dislocation,” Hilda managed to mutter before fainting.

“Oops, forgot to take your blood vessels into account,” Shila said, looking at Hilda.

“You may actually die if I leave you here, I’ll fix this with this miracle,” Shila said, pulling a healing potion out of the shop.

“For 10,000 of your points, you’ll live to see yet another day,” Shila said, feeding it to Hilda, watching as she woke up immediately, vomiting a lot more water out, leaving her panting before shouting in pain, lying back down.

“Fuck…” Hilda muttered, feeling all her damaged parts healing back forcefully.

“You okay?” Shila asked, kneeling beside Hilda.

  “What do you think?”

“Can I grope you?” Shila asked, causing Hilda to sit up immediately but fall back onto her back due to the lingering pain.

  “What?”

If you find this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the infringement.

  “What?”

“No, what did you just say?” Hilda asked, slowly sitting up as the pain subsided.

“Nothing, I just asked if you were okay,” Shila answered, helping Hilda up.

“Right…” Hilda muttered, not believing her as she prepared to teleport to the 43rd floor.

“Please make sure to stay safe this time,” Shila said, teleporting with Hilda to the 43rd floor.

They end up in front of another wall as Shila sighed, preparing to swim but Hilda stopped her, pulling her back by her collar.

  “What is it?” She asked.

“I wanna try something, protect me in case I nearly die again,”

  “Sure?”

Hilda used her spatial magic as she teleported to the other side of the wall after teleporting the water out of her destination.

“Great!” Hilda shouted, doing the same to Shila as they easily went through the walls.

They easily soar through the next few floors, the diary becoming more complete with each level until they reach level 45, the last one before teleporting back to the territory.

“Finally! We could have been done so much faster if you had done this from the start,” Shila celebrated, turning around to see Hilda vomiting some water out.

“Right… you couldn't get rid of all the water. Whatever, let's read!”

“... A sentence I'd never thought I'd say out loud,” Shila said to herself as she opened the diary, Hilda joining in as she lay down on the floor beside Shila as they flipped through random pages.

  Day 620.

I managed to escape… only I did, I somehow found another way to another world and ditched my old one… like a coward. I'll make sure to avenge those I left behind and join them afterward.

  Day 637.

There are other species here too, I wonder if they would be willing to help?

  Day 667.

It seems like this world is peaceful, though I'll make sure to find a way to kill the ‘guardian’ of the old village.

  Day 900.

I'm almost done with my preparations, I've been training for this day.

  Day 901.

There's… a new lake that appeared above the portal I entered through… how? I could have sworn I sealed the portal off.

  Day 978.

The water is rising again, I'll get my revenge eventually but the lives of those who are alive take priority over the justice of those who are dead.

  Day 1021.

The portal is nearly up, the walls are being built, I'll need just another month, that is all and I'll be able to bring everybody to a new world once again…

  Day 1050.

I made it… over half the villages have died from starvation.

“This is boring, it'll just keep this up own it?” Shila said, causing Hilda to snap out of her daydream as she turned to face her

“Then let's go to the end,” Hilda said, flipping to the last page, finding a massive jump in pages.

  Day… 3728?

I honestly forgot which day it is, my diary is honestly the least of my problems currently.

I'll leave my diary here and spread it out for people so whoever can make it through and find every book may be able to avenge me.

By the time anybody finds me, I il be long dead, I'll seal off this world once and for all, my body is that of a normal person, it'll long have been crushed under the water pressure, unlike the bodies of my friends.

“Still boring, this diary has been duplicated thousands of times since this floor is per person.”

Shila stood up, turning back to Hilda who kept the diary in her inventory.

“The 46th floor will be real fun, I promise.”

  She smirked, confusing Hilda.

  “Sure?”

Hilda and Shila both teleported to the 46th floor, finding themselves in a dark cave, surrounded by people.

  Race: Suvan

  Bloodline:Suvan(100 percent)

  Level: 350

  Stats.

  (351 S) (351 E) (351 A) (351 M)

“All hail the fated one! Our savior!” They shouted together, their voices all overlapping each other.

“By the way, this level has teams, the theme is the same up to floor 50. Guess we're the cultists.”

Hilda turned to Shila in disbelief before turning back to the cultist, most with a level near 350.
